We drove to our final leg of the trip right after we checked out of Grand Lexis Port Dickson. We made a pit stop for break and prayer before reaching Melaka. The first thing we did was to drop at Mahkota Parade for lunch at Kenny Rogers Roasters and packed food from The Chicken Rice Shop. Then off to our next destination at Bayou Lagoon Park Resort. Right after we checked in, and settled in our three bedroom apartment, we got ready and hit the water park. The kids really had a great time, taking all the slides and even the depth of the water didn’t jeopardize the fun they had. We played till the closing time and then head back to our apartment to wash up and dinner. They love the big area and had their own bed space.
The next day we had a horrible breakfast served by the resort before becoming tourists for the day. We took the Menara Taming Sari and River Cruise. Then we had lunch at A&W at Dataran Pahlawan Megamall. Next we went to Maritime Museum, covering 4 museums and the rest we walked around red square, christ church, hard rock and jonker street. Back to our resort and it’s another round in the water park. At night we drove out for some delicious local dinner before ending our day. The kids kept themselves with gadgets and stuff they brought over before they conked out. 26 June is the day for us to check out. We woke up much later and force ourselves with the horrible food provided. To kill the time, before making our way back to our homeland, we gave the kids the freedom to play the games and playground in the resort. We had a great 3 nights stay across the border. Credit must go to the husband who did well for our first family road trip. The kids truly enjoyed their June school holiday trip at the 2 accommodations. Till the next one in September.
