I used to worry about her size. I gave all sorts of vitamins and supplements. I even brought her to private doctor before. Adriana is simply a fussy eater. But when she entered TPS and I saw there are other students of the same size as her and there are even smaller, I wasn’t that bother then. So the referral letter for further assessment was much expected for the girl who stands at 104cm and weighs 14kg.
We made their way from Tampines to Outram for the daughter medical appointment. I was at work in the morning then back to fetch her from school. The doctor was pretty concern as she falls below the average graph and even noted down the parents heights as well. We talked about the food intake, exercise, sleeping habits and siblings. She will be having another follow up in a year time and hopefully she makes an improvement so that we will not need to make it a yearly trip there.
