ADRIANA COMPETITION

We slept for less than 5 hours and woke up early the next day for Adriana’s first ever dance competition. It’s been a haywire week, with lack of sleep and strings of appointments. Anyway it’s a battle of best competition comprising of all Iman branches. The Inter-Preschool Environmental Dance Competition organized by the National Environment Agency and using recyclable materials to fabricate their dance costumes and props.

The girl once again was in the front row and without doubt the main reason was due to her petite size. She was smiling all the way and look cute with the recycle items. All kids from all the branches did a great job and put up a fantastic show. This competition is not about qualifying for the finals or emerge as the champion, it’s more for the exposure and learnt to cooperate to work as a team. I seriously admire the kids from Tampines branch not because my daughter is there, but because of memorizing another dance steps after their concert. Their moves may not be perfect and there was hiccups but it’s the effort and spirit that they had projected.
