Our original plan for the twin’s birthday celebration was sort of backfired. The other half managed to get his leave at the last minute which made everything changed. After much deliberation we mailed to the resort and in the nick of time we managed to cancel the booking without any charges. But still we went ahead with their birthday celebration before we depart to our anniversary trip.
Alhan and Aryan first birthday were celebrated with their parent and siblings. It was such a great bonding and joy for the family of 6. The sister’s first birthday cake was from Swensen and she rode on the cable car whereas the brother’s first birthday cake was from Carousel and he hopped on the Singapore Flyer. So to continue with the tradition, the twins’ first birthday cake was from Bakerzin and we took the Ferris Wheel. Next was choosing the speculaar venue for the cake cutting. Adriana’s was at Esplanade, Aqil’s was at Marina Barrage and Alhan and Aryan were at Fort Canning!
It was quite a challenge to get the newly crown toddlers to keep still with their birthday cakes in front of them. Oh yes, they had a cake each. They are twins but that doesn’t mean they have to share everything. Come on, let’s give them a breather and be different occastionally! Since the newly crown toddlers have started to walk, I invested on Pediped shoes for them. Barefoot walking or soft leather sole shoes are highly recommended. The next best thing to bare feet!
