We turned 5 on 18 February 2010. 5 years of being husband and wife. It’s has been a high speed journey for us. It’s been a ride with humps down the road. We were together 7 years ago, and after 2 years on the same date we got hitched With 4 kids along the way, our priorities in life have changed. Plans and wishes had to be forfeited for the sake of the importance in our life.
Strange but true, we are getting on stronger as time goes by. The kids are our strength. Our differences attract us as one. We need each other to keep the family going. I’m the fire and he's the water. I’m the adventurous and he's the layback. We may not have the exact interest. We may not have the same concept. We are opposite. We are 2 individuals. Ironically, we able to click. That's what being called, opposite attracts.
I look upon him as my guidance, someone who hold my hands and lead me to the positive and right path. His patience and listening ears counteract my temper and rambling rants. He was well aware of my attitude and behavior right from our courtship yet as what he said he wanted me to be the mother of his children. His belief in me that I will change for the better makes me realize that he is the one. In fact, I have learnt lots from him and his words of wisdom always gave me a wake up call. I feel so blessed and thankful for his presence and never ending advises. I do admit that there are times I took advantage of his kindness but never a word of complain from him. I reckon real life experiences and stories heard made us opened our eyes and realised our mistakes.
Thank you for accepting me despite encounter the down side of me. Thank you for the trust that I will be better woman one day. Thank you for what you have provided for us. Thank you for being a doting father. Thank you for choosing me as a partner whom you going to spend the rest of your life with. Thank you for all the love and care. Happy Anniversary, my dear...Insya allah, many more years ahead for us...
