How time gust away and it’s another year for the Muslim to begin fasting. I’m grateful to be able to fast in good health after being pregnant for 3 times on this holy month. It was quite a challenge to be for the past 2 years straight. Hopefully I’m able to go through any obstacles and be blessed.
We are glad that the men finally get leave for this year hari raya. The last time he was off from work was in 2005! I was so relieved because if not I don't think I can or get a lift from my parents with the 4 kids. So you could imagine the swift visiting we had on the first day before he was gone to work. Thankfully the preparation had started earlier than last year. Mother and daughter outfits had been sent to the tailor. Father’s outfits are ready and the boys’ clothes had been tailored and bought too. I have ordered 2 kuih and will buy 4 types from the usual shop that I bought. What I’m left to buy are bed sheets and containers for the kuih. Of course not forgetting, the cleaning and dusting of the house. It will be a pretty challenging for us with 2 toddlers and 2 infants. But this is hari raya, we will make it a pleasant and meaningful visiting. Furthermore the presence of the first ever twins on both sides of the family kick off as a fine start and special for this year raya. Let’s recap what we had embarked for the past 4 Aidilfitri.
