COUSIN WEDDING

It was my cousin wedding. The only close relation wedding was held after mine. We grew up together and stayed at the same estate during our younger days. We played, we fought, we teased and we hanged around together. We slept over each other houses and shared our little secrets. We attended the same secondary school and she was the one who asked me to choose that school. We always look for each other and weekly outings during our teenager days. All these meet up was reduced after I was married and had my first child. Still we do contact occasionally and met during our family functions.

Finally she got hitched to someone of her choice. We respected and prayed for her happiness. Unfortunately not much photos were being captured as both of us were busy handling the 4 kids. It was quite a challenge for us to move around on our own with the 4 of them. During the solemnization, the man was helping out with the arrangement on the void deck so I was in her house looking after the kids by myself. Everyone was busy and having their own chores to do so I didn’t to disturb them to ask for aid. On the wedding day, we had to keep an eye on the 2 walking toddlers. In case they were too engrossed playing with other cousins and headed to the car park. The crucial part was to endure the freaking scotching sun! I had to make sure the 2 elders drank enough water and fanned the 2 young ones. We left the venue early so that we could wash up and changed for a party. But once we reached and blasted the air con, we were too shagged to attend auni’s first birthday!
