TWINS AT 32 WEEKS
My check up with the gynae went smoothly and the babies were fine. I have been eating large portion since the seventh months and I’m not bothered if I were to put a lot of weight. Instead I expected that I would have put on at least 2-3kg. Strangely I only put on a miserable 1kg and I guessed the rest went to the twins. The left twin weighs 2kg and the right twin weighs 1.8kg. We and even the gynae were pleased with the development and I’m glad that they will be over 2kg when they are born. He touched on the issue of the progress of the twins and gave me a deadline. I presumed probably he saw how I struggled to walk and my over stretched tummy. He also talked about the family planning and cheekily asked us about baby number 5. We shall discuss further on that once I’m done with this pregnancy. He was impressed by my ability to still able to report to work at this stage and I guess it’s time for me to get that mc. Pregnant with a pair of twins and still going to and fro work, you will get what I mean. So I will see him again in 2 weeks time and I reckon that’s where the countdown begins.
