Next up was road trip for September school holiday. The kids were looking forward to it and kept monitoring the calendar.Driving up to the destination wasn’t an issue because it was just nearby. We packed everything in one big luggage and I woke up at 5am to prepare the breakfast and some packed food.
We left home at 7am sharp and the journey to the woodlands checkpoint was a breeze. We even just drive along to clear the johor custom. We managed to get a lot at the resort carpark and then straight away took the lift up to the reception. I went through the normal procedure of checking in and collected our 2 days combo tickets. After that, we let the kids played with the lego before taking the lift up again to enter Legoland. The weather was hot but that didn’t dampen our spirit. The kids were really had a great time. As for the parents, we had to take the same ride twice if required adult companion and entry for 2. The kids shown their bravery acts especially when they volunteered to take the project x, dino island the dragon and dragon apprentice rides where I had to take 4 times each because the husband simply refused to ride. We had our western lunch over there and rest for a while. It wasn’t crowded, in fact there weren’t many people walking around and no queue for all the rides. We felt satisfied to cover the whole place within a day and exit to return to the resort. I went back to the reception to collect the keys and straight went to our room. The kids were ecstatic when the door was opened. We love the interior and details of our premium kingdom theme room. They worked on the clues in order the open the treasure box where lies some welcome gifts for them. I actually bought instant noodles, tibits, drinks and instant coffee so we had cup noodles and milo in the room for dinner. The kids had their free space and time, playing with the in room lego and watching the television before dozed off.
