HEY JUNEY

School is officially out and holiday is kicking in! For this family, I make sure I prepared all their school stuff by the first week. Which means I ironed their uniforms, washed their shoes and bags and packed their books during the weekends of the school closure.

Attended the kids’ meet the parents’ session, beginning with the preschoolers. For Aqil, no issue and the teacher gave 2 words to describe him; competitive and perfectionist. Nothing unusual, as expected. For the Alhan and Aryan, the teacher had separated them ever since term 3 of their nursery days. During those 2 terms, they were always together and helping out each other. So now in K1, the teacher said, one will be agitated if the other haven’t finish his work, and if one not sure of about work, he will sent signal to the other.

Next was the primary student. I set high expectation on Adriana probably because she is the eldest and ought to set the examples. I always had talks with her and she knows I am dead serious. I told her that I was disappointed with her results and she knows what is missing out from this. Yes, I pushed her to work hand but hey, I gave her the freedom to play hard after that. Her languages are alright but I am sure she can score much better that and I think her science is rather reasonable as a first timer.

School holidays and assignments come in as a package. The girl has 8 online assignments and still attending her tuition twice a week. The boys have 25 pages of assignment to complete each. Target is to get all done by the second week.
