While there are others out there mentioning that everyday can be a mother’s day, there is no harm to dedicate a day just for mothers. There is ought to commemorate day for them, for their endless sacrifies and putting their children ahead of them. To my ever fierce mother who also at the same time managing the house by herself and her career, thank you for everything and we now totally understand where you coming from. To my ever patient mother in law, thank you for giving birth to a fine son who is my husband and without you realising it, I have gained lots of knowledge from you.
On Saturday, we gathered at my parents. It wasn’t a celebration but a norm for us to always visit my parents on weekends and enjoyed the food together. On Sunday, the husband brought us to Cake Love located at Jalan Pisang where we had some fries, wings, desserts and drinks. Just a short family time together over the weekend.
