ADRIANA’S OLYMPICS DAY & SCHOOL CAMP

I was reluctant but she was persistent. She coaxed the father who said to me, “Just let her go, let her be independent!” I turned to him,” You have no idea how I feel, this is my first born!” In the end, I approved half heartedly and her wish is granted.

We attended the camp briefing and bought some of the camp stuff. She was eager and kept reminded me if all in the list were packed. On that morning, TPS held the Junior Olympics Day first. Her class won the race and she was awarded with a medal. At 11am, it’s time for the parents to leave the kids in the school for them to continue with their overnight camp. She was excited and full of smile when we bade goodbye.

She returned the next day and updated how much she enjoyed herself. She had no issue with the activities, getting to sleep, getting ready and packing up. This is my first child. This is my only daughter. This is the first time she is away under the care of people whom she is not related with. This is her very first school camp.
