To the one who is always running around and rushing. To the one who lacks of sleep and gets tired. To the one who spend more with his kids than their mother. To the one who does better job in handling his kids that their mother. To the one who prioritize his kids’ needs. To the one who will do anything for his kids. To the one who send and fetch the kids before or after work. To the one who takes leave whenever the kids fall sick. The father of my children deserves the best father award. Happy fathers’ day, you deserve this special day to commemorate your never ending sacrifice, love, care and concern to our children!
We set to East Coast late afternoon, to beat the crowd and parking lots. We had satay, chicken, fish and cockles at Food Village. We bought additional satay and chicken and head to my parents’ after that. I think dad must be surprised to see the whole family at his house when he returned home. My dad worked very hard for the family despite my mum was working too and in fact both of them were civil servant. He provides everything for his 3 girls and we were never shortage of anything. Now that the 3 of us have our own family, it’s time for them to relax and enjoyed themselves. Since our family tree has grown, they are now surrounded by grandchildren. At night, we all sat and gathered and went through our old photographs and talked about the past memories.
