Adriana's student led conference known as SLC went well. The husband was sweet enough to report to work and came back to attend and return to work. He is very concern about his only daughter welfare. We are very pleased with the positive feedback and great improvement compared to the first semester. We probed further on her best and weakest area and how she responds in her class and her interaction with her classmates.
I really appreciate the teacher’s effort on building up Adriana’s confidence. I did feedback during the first semester SLC on the difficulty of her to open up and even the teacher faced that in class too. She got Adriana to participate in her class presentations and always get her involve in the speeches. The teacher noticed her interest in dancing and she is able to read by herself so she roped her in the dance and reading competitions. It boosts up the confidence and a great exposure and the teacher is happy to see the development in her. She excels in the smart reader and smart speaker programmes and show great potential in arabic and recite surah. She is well liked by her classmates and they love to mingle with her. Her best subject is mathematics and for the second time, she received the number smart award and her weak subject is Malay but her teacher said it’s not surprising since they speak Malay only on Wednesday. I am feeling the anxiety and can’t believe that she has graduated from K1 and will be in K2 next year.
