Everything just took in place and there I was baking 6 types of delicacies. The last time I made was in 2004 and that’s like 6 years ago! Ever since I got married, I always had excuses such as pregnant and an infant in hand. Since I own an Ariston oven, I might as well make full use of it and furthermore its cost saving. If only my Ariston oven could talk, it will say,” finally I’m working!”
On the second weekend, I made 2 which are quaker oats biscuits and chocolate chip cookies. On the third weekend, I spent the whole day completing on 4 which are honey cornflakes, suji and first attempt of nestum cookies and m&m.

For the first time, my white kitchen was in a mess. The only daughter was a help and realize how fussy she can be with the accuracy and cleanliness! To sum up the baking, I managed to get 4 bottles of quarker oats, 4 bottles of chocolate chip cookies, 3 bottles of cornflakes, 4 bottles of suji, 2 bottles of nestum cookies and 2 bottles of m&m. I’m glad that I’m able to contribute some to my parents, sisters, parents in law and neighbour.

Insya Allah, I hope to master the technique of making tart, makmur, dahlia and macaroon so as for now I could only buy them. I love the old school kuih and my partner loves macaroon. I tease my mum for not parting the skills to me and mock further that she didn’t want to share the secret with her daughter! So 10 types kuih all ready to be display and fill our guests’ tummies!
