I was away from work for 12 days taking over duty of taking care of the kids. It’s more of myself performing the role of mother and wife. My in laws were occupied with the pre and post wedding and my family too lend a helping hand on both days. The husband’s only sister got hitched and alhamdulillah the ceremony went well. We seize this chance to spend time together since both of us were on leave. It so fun watching the kids running around and beaming with joy. Besides, bathing, feeding, playing, sleeping with them, the kids had a wild time riding at the void deck, playing at the playground, and cartoon marathon over the cable and kicking balls at home! The man has been bringing the kiddos to the swimming pool at the sports club during his off day and this time it’s my first trip there and the twinnies' virgin deep in the pool. The husband has been telling me how brave they were every time he brought them there. I witnessed myself and they were like in heaven! They enjoyed themselves so much that we were having difficulty to get them out of the pool. From the pool to the sea and it’s another virgin jaunt for the twins. It was a day for the kids to have fun with the sand and enjoy the breeze. I’m eager to bring the kids to so many places and shall say have a couple of choices in mind. It’s all the matter of time and opportunity, insya allah!
It’s been a fruitful 2 weeks of family and domestic times. It creates moments for me to spend quality time with each of my child. The first born and I will always engage in a conversation and talk about life. Behind the mischievous of the second born, he can be a darling boy. The third born has transformed from a serious looking to a boy who smiles showing his 10 teeth and could actually hear him saying a few words clearly. Being a typical youngest child, the fourth child is such a pamper boy who loves to sing and walking round the house.
We took the advantage for the husband and wife to collaborate with spring cleaning. We were content that we managed to clean, scrub, vacuum and mop. We felt the satisfaction when we swept off the dust at all the windows and cabinets. We ever to extend to brush off our corridor area!
Ya Allah, thank you for giving me this opportunity. I’m grateful of what you have bestow us.
