The plan for this week was a visit to the bird park, the first for my son. Free tickets from the company and we left the premise after 5pm which eventually led to free parking. We were proud of ourselves to roam around on foot and managed to comb the whole area. We love the children’s parrot show and the kings of the skies show and the kids simply had fun at the penguin chitchat and splash n slide station. There were lots of changes compared to the time we visited in 2006 and new stuff was being introduced. Three years back, we took photo with the birds on our arms but right now the birds were seated on a kind of branch and we hold on to it. We did ask and they said this is because people tend to get nervous and drop the birds which caused injuries to them. We were one of those lucky millions of visitors who had that opportunity which now had been ceased.
