TWINS AT 28 WEEKS
The parents and the gynae were thrilled and satisfied with the progress of the twins. As what he said, "they are doing extremely well, just like a single baby." The twins have reached the 1kg mark each. No wonder I am struggling to walk as I am carrying a 2kg load now! The left twin tends to be the more active but the right twin weighs slightly heavier. I never experience such aggressive movement from Adriana and Aqil but the twins have been moving vigorously non stop! Not only can I feel, I can see too! I asked him about the mode of delivery. He said,"you can go through normal delivery,a good chance." I was relieved and thankful by his reply. He carried on giving me the encouragement to give birth naturally and if the twins continue with the excellent progress, I will be able to give birth to a full term babies. Syukur Alhamdulillah, I was given the opportunity once again despite carrying a pair of twins and HIS protection over my two babies.
I did question the gynae, how to avoid and what I can do in order to avoid having premature babies. It’s a question that I can’t deny and expect the unexpected. He answered,"more rest." It’s one tough task. I would be happy to just lay on the bed or surfing the internet at home but there’s always something I want to do at home. I can’t stand to see things at home not at their supposed position and I always be finding things to do. Reporting to work up to this stage, while carrying a pair of twins, is indeed a challenge. It still alright on some days when the man chauffer me but there were days that I took the public transport. I do receive the support from the management with the minimal work load assigned but still it’s more of the traveling to and fro. At times, the aching and headache were too unbearable that I had my dad to either send or fetch me. Still I don’t want to trouble him much, with the heavy traffic and erp in town. I seriously hope to hang on to them as long as possible but as the same time I’m not sure if I have the strength to endure that long.
